Our Customer Service Team is pleased to assist passengers in retrieving their lost items. The Lost Property Office provides registration, handles inquiries, and offers retrieval services for items lost within the Passenger Terminal Complex.

 

Lost Property Office Locations:

  • Airside: North Node, Ground Floor
  • Landside: Arrivals Hall

 

Items lost on your flight:

 

Items lost inside the Passenger Terminal:

  • As per your convenience either contact the nearest HIA Information Desk or report to any of the above-mentioned Lost Property offices.
  • If you are outside the airport premises, please use the Contact Us form or email the HIA Lost Property Office at contact-us@hamadairport.com.qa with a full description of the lost item, including:
    • Brand/model and color
    • Flight number and date
    • Time and possible location where it was lost
    • A photo of the lost item (if available)

 

Disclaimer

Hamad International Airport is an authorized representative to assist with queries of items lost within the Airport premises.

Items handed to Hamad International Airport Lost Property Office will be kept for a period of up to 30 days subject to item category (*). Thereafter, unclaimed items will be donated to charity and will not be available for retrieval. The airport does not accept liability for any items lost/left behind at the airport.

1. Direct Disposal: Excess baggage, perishables and dangerous goods items.

2. 7-day Policy: Neck pillows, water tumblers, unbranded clothes, caps and hats, toys, umbrellas, walking sticks, wheelchairs and Zamzam water.

3. 30-day Policy:

  • Precious metals and gems: Gold, silver, ruby, emerald, sapphire, diamond etc
  • Transaction cards and cash: Credit cards, debit cards, currency, except loose petty cash
  • Official documents: ID, passport, driving license, etc
  • Electronics items: Laptops, smart phones, tablets, headsets, watches, smart watches, power banks, SIM, card adaptors, world adaptors, etc
  • Miscellaneous: Luxury and/or branded clothes
